The Insight Behind AppLink

AppLink is a smart action trigger for Microsoft Teams calls. Here’s how it works: When a call comes into the system, triggered via SBC, the user’s workstation receives a signal. At that moment, AppLink activates — either automatically or with user confirmation. It performs an action — like opening the contact’s profile in Salesforce or loading their last support ticket in your ERP. All of this happens on the local machine — quick, secure, and frictionless. It’s like having a customized dashboard that appears exactly when and where you need it — during the call.

Real-World Story — Anna’s Flow

Let’s meet Anna, a busy customer success manager. She’s preparing for her day using Microsoft 365 Copilot. As she reviews her agenda, Copilot flags a follow-up meeting with a key client. She clicks into Outlook to double-check her calendar. Everything’s smooth — but now, she notices something new: Contacts by XPhone is right there in her Outlook apps. Just like in Teams. Even if she doesn’t need to open it at that moment, just seeing it there gives her confidence. It’s ready when she is. It's part of her environment — part of her flow.
